But I'm A Cat Person's Cohen, media mogul who funds a ton of shapeshifter research on the side, having a bad day.

This is actually an entry for two Valentine's Day contests: one about anniversaries (of anything, not just romances) and one soliciting stories about your Susan Glenn ("that person in your past who you were in love with, but for some reason never told").

What, ANOTHER Contest??EDIT: Woohoo! I got my fifth entry - the contest isn't going to be closed! But we still have just under three weeks to go so if you are going to enter I think you should hurry. "But you just had one!" Yes and I'm having another. Valentines day is coming up and I want to do a contest for that. Normally I wouldn't actually have three contests in a row but due to some very sweet people who just gave me points (plus I have a big aniversery coming up and I wanna celebrate) I decided to have one. Theme: Aniversary. It doesn't necessarily have to relate to love either. Perhaps it's an aniversary of a trainer's first pokemon, a bad break up, death or even the aniversary of the day you first saw your favorite show. As long as it's an aniversary it counts. Contest Ends: February 13th - midnight Rules: :bulletgreen: All mediums/creatures/sexuality/relationships/collabs/pre-existing work accepted* :bulletgreen: You may submit to any websi
VALENTINES DAY CONTEST!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Theme:     MY SUSAN GLENN CONTESTANTS:    7 COMPLETED ENTRIES:    1 "I remember her--- not just a girl, but the girl. The brains behind the all-time top ten comic book vixens who could only wish they could conjure a siren the likes of Susan Glenn. Beneath my feet, my own private earthquake registered an eight when Susan Glenn was near. In her presence all was beautiful; but before she arrived everything turned grotesque and in her shadows others became goblinesque if she approached. Susan Glenn; she didn't walk-- she floated, accompanied by Pyrotechnics specialists that left me feeling a foot tall. She embodied every desireable quality I have ever wanted. In my mind, I was a peasant before a Queen. And so… Susan Glenn and I… were never a thing. …if I could do it again, I'd do it differently."

:iconpoliticette: did some research and discovered that the term "Susan Glenn" comes from an old Axe Body Spray campaign. I guess if only Cohen had gotten himself some Axe back in the day, he might have been saved this whole miserable fate.

A "Susan Glenn"? Sure, I have one. Anybody who's single at my age probably has to, right?

She was . . . amazing. Brilliant, obviously. Never backed down from a fight. We were at each other's throats all the time -- wouldn't have had it any other way.

Never once went on an actual date. She wouldn't have accepted if I'd asked. Too busy with her career to have any interest in a personal life. Which suited me fine. I didn't want to risk getting tied down with a family anyway.

But, you know, looking back on it now, I could have at least told her how I really felt. Might have been worth a mention. And, well, now she's dead -- eight years ago today, actually -- so, so much for that idea.

Don't look at me like that. If needing a few extra drinks on a day like this meant you had an alcohol problem, everyone in the world would be in AA.
