From Colbits, in which struggling young student Jon Stewart stumbles across a PC in nearly perfect condition - left in the garbage.
(Spoilers for Chobits ahead.) As the PC, given the name "Stii", starts to learn about the world around him, he proves to be affectionate, curious, and a fan of absurdly frilly dresses. Which is totally fine with Jon. But there's more to his intensely secured OS than meets the eye. Stii has a doppelganger (dubbed "Dark Stii" by the fans, before his identity was revealed), and a whole set of memories so painful that they must be locked away. As it turns out, Dark Stii is the preserved memory of the first of only two PCs from the "Colbit" model series. He fell in love with his "papa" and creator, O'chan; this eventually led to his breakdown. His memories were backed up onto Stii, who was then sent out into the world to search for "someone just for him" who could accept and return his feelings. Could that person be Jon? And how many delicious pinups of Stii will this series spawn? (If you want to take a shot at drawing Stii or Dark Stii yourself - go for it! One person's already taken me up on it, with lovely results.) |
