This was a request for someone at at the Shine oekaki a while back.

I think the designs of Yu-Gi-Oh! are gorgeous and detailed, but the premise of the game in the show has always seemed a little ridiculous to me. I mean, they're cards. No matter how cool they look, I can't imagine they'd give Seras much of a fight.

Actually, the Manga was originally going to follow over several games and themes, but everyone loved the card game (Including Takahashi) so they decided to expand on it... untill it ate up the entire serise. Not complaining though, it's interesing x3

:( Indeed, they got rich off of it though, so it works for them (Card game... figurines... all that good stuff...)

Have you ever seen the first Season of the anime? It was never aired in America and features several different games. It was deemed too 'Adult' for American Audiences.
My only problem with it is that Kaiba's hair is green x3
