The teddy does look a bit fussy, doesn't it? This is its first big role in an illustration, and it's trying to look impressive.
I don't know that happy!Stephen is afraid of anything. He's not giggly and bouncy all the time, but he has a pretty strong internal well of serenity -- like, you wouldn't be able to psych him out, even by putting a gun to his head. Although I'm not sure how well he would deal with physical pain...and it's making me feel like a horrible person to ponder it D:

Eep, that was a purely innocent question I swear (since happy!Stephen embraces something that c!Stephen has an irrational fear of). I'm going to stop thinking of it and focus on h!Stephen's soft shiny hair and how good he looks in pink.
