Knowing a man through his art is knowing a man through his heart - Raina
This is sweet, I like it lots. But being me, now I'm thinking 'What is the lifespan of a/the Grinch? Does he age in reverse like Mork or Benjamin Button so that when Cindy Lou is older he's the right age for her, but then she'll be a grandma caring for an infant...' :brain shorts out:
:starts over: I like how curvy Cindy is, and she still has the sweet round face she had as a child. The Grinch looks great too, but I prefer him looking less bishie.
He's at least 53 when the original story takes place ("Why, for fifty-three years I've put up with it now!"), so if he does age in reverse, he had a very long lifespan to start with.
Me, I figure he's more like an immortal mythical creature - a kirin, a vampire, the Grim Reaper - than any species with the conventional aging-and-dying thing going on. Or else he just has such a long lifespan that age loses its meaning. (Thus why people can ship the Doctor with anything that moves.)
As for Cindy Lou...I just took her childhood roundness as foreshadowing
