The crack team of fake reporters that was The Daily Show circa 2002: Rob Corddry, Ed Helms, Rachael Harris, our own Jon and Stephen, Mo Rocca, and Stacey Grenrock-Woods.

Drawn because I really wanted an illustration of Team TDS as they appear in this fic. It's an ensemble adventure in which the correspondents end up working together to rescue Jon, with lots of shooting mutant fish along the way.

Rachael is probably my favorite of the lesser-known correspondents. If the Vantastic Voyage doesn't sell you on her, I don't know what will.

Indeed :D

I've watched a few of Rob's segments recently, and come to the realization that I miss him more than I thought. Ah, the good old days.

I caught a couple episodes of Children's Hospital and laughed my butt off.

Can they have like a reunion episode with Stephen and Rob and Ed and Steve and Jason and Sam? I love the newer correspondents but this will always be my dream team.

Oh goodness yes. I watched the webisodes; they were delightful.

Jason and Steve didn't actually overlap XD I didn't get into the show until after Steve's time, so I can't really claim nostalgia for him...but Rob and Ed, definitely. And I would be all over a reunion episode.

Ahh you're right. ><; I loved Even Stephven back in the day. But yea most of my nostalgia is for Ed and Rob.

It's funny how I tend to think of Iron Chef America with Mo Rocca more than TDS these days.
