When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Snow White and Sleeping Beauty - illustration for Memories Of You Being Beautiful, from this year's little bang (a femslash ficathon).
She can't help but think Snow White is stupid, naive with her wide eyes and innocence. Briar Rose can't remember ever being like that, believing someone will save her from this mess, a mess that Snow White should be expecting by now because it's been three times. Three old beggars with three poisoned promises, and Briar Rose can't see why Snow White still trusts humanity at all. Comments
ummm did you intend for Snow White to look like Stephen and Sleeping Beauty to look like Jon? (I see it in the nose mostly)

Just wanted her to have a long straight nose, that's all. (And be large overall, to draw out Snow White's petiteness. That's not a terribly Jon-ish trait -- AND SHINE HEAVEN NOW Jon Stewart is God Erin Ptah dot com :iconIntegral-fanclub: lol I thought so.
I have to say Sleeping Beauty looks a little man-ish in the face area, that's what made me think Jon. hmmm maybe a little more hippy? Lovely frills on Snow White's dress -- I just want to pinch them. Evocative facial expressions too. And well done on the slope to Snow White's shoulders. The shading on the skin makes it look soft and touch-able.
I would like to have seen you be more intentional and consistent with the shading and details. You did such a great job making elaborate frills on Snow White's skirt, and then she has no toes! Briar Rose's dress could use more wrinkles to give it more texture. The texture in her hair doesn't really match the shape of it -- the curls suggested by the texture should complement the texture suggested by the outline, not fight against it. Deeper shadows all around, and adding some complementary color into the shadows, would give the figures more volume. I'd like more definition to the shelf on which they're sitting too, to give them more of a sense of weight (although the texture for the background is nice).
The scores on vision and originality are a little low only because I know this is based on a fic, and I get the feeling that this is illustrating the fic rather than adding to it (but I could be wrong).
