I'm a sucker for pairings involving brilliant little girls and the monsters they aren't scared of. Integra/Alucard, Mandy/Grim, and, here, Cindy Lou Who and the Grinch.

I actually drew this months ago, but wanted to save it for the season.

Drawing the Grinch as a quasi-bishounen was one of the weirdest things I've ever done.

Cindy Lou grew up hot.

More art for the pairing here.

"No more than two" at the time of canon.

But she'll grow up! It's a Mayfly-December romance.

Do you have Mandy/Grim art as well? :D I'm glad you like to link back to other art because I am could have sworn I had gone through your entire gallery, yet I am constantly finding things I had not seen before ^_^

Cindy is adorable, and I like her dress. I prefer the newer Grinch you did without the hair on top brushed over. Max is looking very Chuck Jones with the elongated snout :D

...and now I'm thinking I should clarify that kink. It's for tough little girls and the ferocious monsters who should terrify them but don't because they are simply too awesome, and end up serving and protecting them, often with snark or disdain but always with underlying adoration. Integra/Alucard is kind of the epitome of this. But a girl/monster pairing like, oh, say, Edward/Bella, that completely misses the mark.

I haven't drawn Mandy/Grim, but I ship it! Girls and their monsters are kind of a bulletproof kink of mine. (Have you read Grim Tales? It's a thing of joy. Creepy, creepy joy.)

Cindy's dress was fun to design - I briefly looked at the live-action movie to see how they did it, but decided to go back to Seussian Who basics instead. I was trying to keep the sense of the way they were drawn in the cartoon, Max's snout and all =)
